We are testing a new medicine, NNC6989-0001, to see if it's safe for people with overweight or obesity. This medicine is not yet available in pharmacies and is still being tested. In this study, participants will get either the new medicine or a placebo (a pill that looks like the medicine but has no treatment in it). The choice of which one participants get will be random, like flipping a coin.

To join the study, you must:

  • Be between 18 and 55 years old.
  • Have a Body Mass Index (BMI) between 25.0 to 34.9 kg/m² or 25.0 to 39.9 kg/m², depending on the study part.
  • Be healthy based on tests and exams.
