Cancer treatment in Taiwan often includes surgery and chemoradiotherapy, which can lead to muscle loss, weakness, and a condition called *sarcopenia* (muscle wasting). This can make patients feel weaker and lower their quality of life. Scientists are studying how exercise, like resistance training and walking, might help. Exercise can increase myokines, proteins that help muscles grow and repair. This study will look at how exercise affects myokine levels, muscle mass, strength, and quality of life in cancer patients.

Sarcomenia makes patients weaker, and harder to recover from treatment. Exercise might be a way to help.

  • Participation requires: Age 20-70, and ability to do exercises after a doctor’s check-up.
  • Study aims: To see if exercise helps improve muscle health and life quality during cancer treatment.
  • Language requirement: Participants must speak Mandarin, Taiwanese, or Hakka.
