This research aims to learn more about thyroid nodules (lumps in the thyroid gland) using acoustic imaging (a type of sound picture) and viscoelastic parameters (how tissues move when pushed). The study compares new methods with standard ultrasound (US) to spot differences between malignant (cancerous) and benign (non-cancerous) nodules. It uses advanced tests like Shear Wave Ultrasound Vibrometry (SDUV) and Comb Push shear elastography (CUSE) to understand how nodules and neck lumps behave. The study also checks how well new ultrasound tools work, like the SuperSonic Imagine Aixplorer.
