Multiple Myeloma (MM) is a type of blood cancer that affects the plasma cells in the bone marrow. The Connect® MM Registry is a study looking at how MM affects patients and how it is treated in the real world. To be part of this study, you must be newly diagnosed or have had certain treatments for MM. You also need to be 18 years or older and willing to fill out some forms.
There are three groups in the study:
- Cohort 1 & 2: People newly diagnosed with symptomatic MM within 2 months.
- Cohort 3: People who have had a first-line (1L) treatment and their disease has progressed, needing a second-line (2L) treatment.
If you're already part of another MM registry or clinical trial, you might not qualify for Cohort 3.
- Key Point 1: Study involves completing questionnaires.
- Key Point 2: Participation requires being newly diagnosed or having specific past treatments.
- Key Point 3: No direct treatment is provided through this registry.
