This study is looking at how a medicine called benralizumab affects people with a specific type of asthma called severe eosinophilic asthma. Eosinophils are a type of white blood cell that can cause inflammation in the lungs. The study lasts for 48 weeks, where participants will still use their regular asthma medicines, like inhaled corticosteroids (ICS) and long-acting B2-agonists (LABA), but will also get benralizumab. After the treatment, there’s a 4-week follow-up period.

To join, you must be 18-70 years old and have asthma that needs certain medicines. You can't join if you have other serious health issues or are pregnant. You also shouldn’t have had certain other treatments recently.
