Pancreatic cancer often requires *surgery* to remove the tumor, which can be difficult because of the pancreas' location near important blood vessels. Surgeons need to be very precise to avoid problems during surgery. Augmented Reality Assistance Systems (ARAS) are special tools that use advanced technology to create 3D images to help doctors see inside the body during surgery. These systems have been used in other types of surgeries, but not much in pancreatic surgeries. This study wants to see how effective ARAS is during pancreatic surgery, as it might help make the surgery more precise and improve results.
- Study involves wearing ARAS during surgery to assist the surgeons.
- Only involves adults over 18 years who are having specific pancreatic surgeries.
- Preliminary study results will be published in a scientific journal.
Eligibility: People over 18 who agree to participate and are having a pancreatectomy can join. However, if the tumor cannot be removed, they can't be part of the study.
