Phase N/A

Parkinson's Foundation PD GENEration Genetic Registry is a research study aimed at creating a central storage of genetic data related to Parkinson's Disease (PD). This study involves individuals who agree to share their genetic data and leftover DNA from clinical tests for future studies. PD is a brain disorder that affects movement, and this study will focus on certain genes linked to PD. Participants must be able to give informed consent and complete surveys either online or in-person.

  • Key Point 1: Participants must be diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease, be willing to undergo genetic testing, and consent to share their results.
  • Key Point 2: The study is open for people with PD but not yet for those at risk.
  • Key Point 3: Individuals with other specific medical conditions, recent blood transfusions, or under 18 years old are not eligible.

The purpose is to support future research by gathering valuable genetic information. It's important to consider your eligibility and willingness to participate in genetic testing before joining.
