This study is testing a new medicine called AZD4604 for adults with moderate-to-severe asthma. It's for people whose asthma isn't controlled well even when using strong inhaled medications (ICS-LABA). The medicine will be tested over 12 weeks using an inhaler. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the medicine or a placebo (a look-alike with no active ingredient) without knowing which they are receiving. This is called a double-blind study.

To join, you need to be between 18 to 80 years old and have had at least one severe asthma attack in the past year. You must have been on stable asthma medication for at least three months and be able to perform lung function tests. Some people, like those with other lung diseases or recent COVID-19, can't join.
