This study is about using **Partnered Rhythmic Rehabilitation (PRR)** to help people with early Alzheimer's disease (AD). AD affects memory and thinking, making it hard to do daily activities. PRR is like a dance class that helps improve fitness, thinking, and social skills by moving to music and learning dance steps. This study will last for **12 months**.
Participants will either do PRR or a walking program. In the first 3 months, they will attend classes twice a week. Then, for the next 9 months, they will have classes once a week. Researchers want to see if PRR is safe and improves thinking and movement abilities. They will also study changes in the brain and body, like blood flow and inflammation.
- **Study Duration:** 12 months with biweekly and weekly sessions.
- **Eligibility:** Participants must have mild memory problems and be able to walk 10 feet without help.
- **Exclusion:** Recent hospitalizations or certain medical conditions like severe arthritis or uncontrolled diabetes.
If you join, you will help researchers understand if PRR is beneficial for people with early AD. Participants must be willing to commit to the full year of study.
