The ACE Trial is a study looking at whether a supplement called Equol can help with artery health and memory in older adults. Equol is a compound from soy that acts like a plant version of estrogen, a hormone. The study involves taking Equol pills every day for two years and visiting the clinic 7 times. During these visits, doctors will measure artery stiffness using a test called Pulse Wave Velocity and check the brain using an MRI, which is a type of scan that takes pictures of the brain. They will also do tests to see how well participants think and remember things.

• Participants will take Equol supplements daily.
• Eligibility includes being aged 65-85 and no dementia.

Participants should not have certain health issues like heart problems or cancer treatments in the last 6 months, and they should not be taking other soy supplements. This study is important because it may help us understand if Equol can slow down aging-related health issues.
