Phase N/A

Pediatric cancer survivors often gain too much weight and may not exercise enough, which can lead to health problems like heart disease. This study aims to help parents/caregivers learn skills to prevent obesity in these children. Parents will join one of two online groups to learn how to improve their child's and their own health. In the NOURISH-T+ group, parents will have 6 weekly sessions (1-1.5 hours each) via video calls, plus 2 sessions with their child. They'll also have a session with a dietician for personalized nutrition advice. The Enhanced Usual Care group will have one session and receive web brochures.

  • Study lasts up to 12 months with sessions and follow-ups.
  • Participants need to be available for video calls and follow-ups.
  • Parents should be the main meal preparer and speak English or Spanish.
