Study on Suicidal Behavior with Bipolar Disorder

This study explores what environmental (like where you live) and psychological (how you feel inside) factors affect suicidal thoughts in people with Bipolar Disorder. Bipolar Disorder is a condition where people experience extreme mood changes, from very happy to very sad. The study offers a 6-week group program to help reduce these thoughts and improve life quality. The program will include group discussions on topics like social routines, mindfulness (being calm and aware), and how to change thoughts to better manage Bipolar Depression (a period of very low mood).

Key Points:

  • Program Duration: 6 weeks, group-based sessions.
  • Eligibility: Must speak English and have Bipolar Disorder.
  • Exclusion: If you have serious medical conditions or certain mental illnesses, you cannot join.

Participants need to agree to join and understand the study (provide informed consent). If you have questions about your health or this study, talk to a doctor or mental health professional for advice.
