PLUTO-II is a study to better understand the heart through Pressure-Volume (PV) loop measurements. PV loop shows how the heart pumps blood and how blood flows in the body. This study focuses on two heart procedures: TAVI (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation) and TEER (Tricuspid Edge-to-Edge Repair). These help fix heart valve problems without major surgery. Doctors will measure heart changes before and after these procedures using PV loops. By doing this, doctors hope to make better decisions for future heart treatments.
During the study:
- Participants undergo PV loop measurements before and after TAVI or TEER.
- The study is for adults having these procedures.
- It's important to give written consent to join.
To join, you cannot have certain heart conditions or need specific heart support devices. This study helps doctors see heart changes during these procedures, potentially improving future heart treatments.
