**Sodium-glucose cotransporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitors** are medicines initially used for diabetes, but they now help people with heart failure. Heart failure is when the heart can't pump blood well. **SGLT2 gene**, also called **SLC5A2**, makes important parts of the body that help with sugar absorption. Some people have changes in their **SLC5A2 gene** that might change how well SGLT2 inhibitors work for them. This study looks at how these genetic changes affect the medicine's success in heart failure patients.

**Key Points:**

  • Participants will be heart failure patients classified as NYHA class II or III. They will continue with their SGLT2 treatment.
  • Participants must be able to sign informed consent and should not have recent heart surgeries or severe kidney issues.
  • Pregnant or breastfeeding women cannot join.
