Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS) is a common problem for many women during the years they can have children. About 40% of women have trouble with their periods. This study looks at how pomegranate, a fruit rich in antioxidants, might help reduce PMS symptoms. Women in the study will be split into two groups: a control group and an intervention group. The intervention group will take 3 mL of pomegranate juice three times a day for 10 days, over two menstrual cycles. This means they will start drinking the juice 7 days before their period and continue until 3 days after it starts. The study will last for 8 weeks.

  • The study will last for 8 weeks.
  • Participants must be women with PMS who have a regular menstrual cycle.
  • Participants will need to take pomegranate juice daily as part of the study.
