Swimming can often lead to shoulder pain due to a condition called scapular dyskinesis (SD), which means the shoulder blade doesn't move properly. This can cause injuries. The study looks at two ways to help with SD: autogenic inhibition and reciprocal inhibition muscle energy techniques. These are special exercises to help muscles work better together. The study aims to help swimmers swim better and reduce injury risk. The study lasts for 3 weeks, with sessions 4 times a week, each lasting 8-14 minutes. Participants must be swimmers who train at least four times a week, have a positive test for SD, and use the freestyle stroke. They should not have had shoulder pain or surgery recently.

  • Eligibility: Regular swimmers with no recent shoulder pain or surgery.
