This study is about comparing two types of pain relief methods after a surgery called laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy (LSG), a weight-loss surgery. The two methods being compared are Transversus Abdominis Plane (TAP) block and Modified Thoracoabdominal Plane (M-TAPA) block. Both methods involve injecting a pain-relief medicine into the belly area to help manage pain after surgery. The study will check which method works better, makes patients feel less nauseous, and if they need fewer extra pain medicines.
- Study Duration: Participants will be monitored for 24 hours after surgery.
- Participants: 60 patients aged 18-65 undergoing LSG, divided into two groups of 30.
- Note: People with certain diseases or conditions (like heart disease or on blood thinners) cannot join.
The study runs from January 26, 2023, to May 15, 2024. Interested individuals should ensure they meet the criteria before participating.
