Phase N/A

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is a mental health issue causing distressing thoughts and repetitive behaviors. This study aims to test a mobile phone app designed to help young adults (18-30 years old) with mild OCD symptoms. Participants will be split into two groups: one group uses the OCD app, and the other uses a different app for cooperation skills. Each group will use the app for 8 days, about 5 minutes daily. They’ll take surveys before and after using the app and one month later, to see if symptoms improve.

Key Points:

  • 8-day app usage, 5 minutes per day.
  • Post-study access to all app programs and small compensation.
  • Eligibility: Ages 18-30, mild OCD, must own a phone, be Singaporean or a Permanent Resident.

Participants will complete surveys on depression, anxiety, and stress. The study checks if the app helps lower these symptoms and if people with less perfectionism benefit more. Those who take part will receive course credits or a small fee, unless they choose to volunteer without compensation.
