This study is about using advanced imaging techniques to map the epileptogenic zone (the brain area causing seizures) in kids under 18 with certain types of epilepsy. **Epilepsy** is a condition where people have seizures. SEEG (stereoelectroencephalography) is a traditional test that uses electrodes on the brain, but it's invasive. Researchers want to see if combining ASL-MRI (arterial spin-labeling MRI) and resting-state fMRI (functional MRI) with EEG (electroencephalogram) can map this zone more precisely without needing SEEG. EEG records brain activity, while MRI scans show detailed brain images. Kids in the study need to have focal lesional epilepsy (seizures from a specific brain area) or rare non-lesional epilepsy (seizures without a visible brain lesion). They shouldn't need anesthesia for the MRI, have generalized epilepsy (seizures affecting the whole brain), or be under legal restrictions.
