Study on the Influence of Dyadic Psychoeducational Intervention on Patients With Maintenance Hemodialysis

This study looks at how a special kind of psychological help, called a "dyadic psychoeducational intervention," can improve the lives of people getting maintenance hemodialysis (MHD). Hemodialysis is a treatment for chronic kidney disease (CKD) where a machine cleans the blood of patients. The study uses a theory called the double ABC-X model, which helps understand stress and coping mechanisms in groups or families. The goal is to help both patients and their caregivers feel better and enjoy life more. This study also helps nurses learn how to support patients and caregivers better.

  • The study is for people 18 or older who have had maintenance hemodialysis for over 3 months.
  • Both patients and their main caregivers can participate, but they must not have serious mental or physical impairments.
  • Participants join voluntarily and should be prepared to engage in psychological interventions.

By participating, patients and caregivers can potentially see improvements in their quality of life, but they should be ready for the time commitment involved in the study.
