This study tests if using special *cement* with **antibiotics** can lower infection rates after hip surgery for people over 65 years old with certain hip fractures. **Antibiotics** are medicines that fight bacteria. *Cement* is used to keep the new hip parts in place. The study will compare two types of cement: one with antibiotics and one without. Researchers will check infection rates, how well the implants stay in place, and costs. This is a **randomized** study, meaning patients are chosen by chance to receive either type of cement. It is also **blinded**, so neither the doctors nor patients know which type of cement is used. The study is conducted by a hospital called IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele.
