Carotid artery endarterectomy (CEA) is a surgery to remove blockages (plaques) from the carotid artery, which supplies blood to the brain. This helps prevent strokes. There are two main methods: Conventional CEA (C-CEA), involving a vertical cut to remove the plaque, and Eversion CEA (E-CEA), which involves a different surgical technique. This study aims to find out which method is safer and more effective. Forty patients will be divided into two groups, each undergoing one of the techniques.
- Study Length: Participants will be observed after surgery for recovery and effectiveness.
- Eligibility: Patients with carotid artery stenosis and recent strokes can join.
- Risks: Potential risks include nerve injury or stroke during the procedure.
