Phase N/A

In this study, researchers are looking at how special breathing exercises, called inspiratory muscle training, can help people with mechanical low back pain. Mechanical low back pain is discomfort or pain in the lower back often caused by issues like herniated discs or arthritis. Participants will be split into two groups. Both groups will do exercises for their lower back, but one group will also do the breathing exercises for 8 weeks.

The study will measure how these exercises affect pain levels, how well participants can move, their sleep quality, and more. To join, you must be between 18-65 years old, diagnosed with mechanical low back pain, and agree to follow the exercises and assessments. You cannot join if you have other serious health issues, recent surgeries, or are currently undergoing physical therapy.

  • The study lasts for 8 weeks with assessments at the start and end.
  • Participants will do exercises supervised by a physiotherapist.
  • Breathing exercises may help improve pain and quality of life.
