This study looks at people who have had a type of stroke called an acute ischemic stroke (AIS), which happens when blood flow to the brain is blocked. The block is often caused by a large vessel occlusion (LVO), meaning a major artery is blocked. The study focuses on people who get medical help more than 24 hours after their stroke symptoms start. Some patients will get a special procedure called endovascular therapy (EVT), where doctors use small tools inside blood vessels to remove the blockage. Others will receive the best medical care available without this procedure.

• Study includes patients treated between January 1, 2018, and January 1, 2028.
• Participants must not have any bleeding in the brain at the start of treatment.
• Researchers will collect detailed information about patients’ treatments and outcomes.

The aim is to see if EVT is better than regular treatment for people who seek help later. Results could guide future treatment decisions for stroke patients.
