Amyloidosis is a condition where proteins called amyloids build up in the body, causing problems. This study is about a special type called AL amyloidosis, where "AL" means "light chain." This study will collect information from new patients across Europe. They will use advanced technology to understand the disease better and improve treatments.
They will create a registry, or a big list, of new patients with AL amyloidosis. They will also set up a system to share samples, like blood or tissue, to study the disease closely. The goal is to find better ways to diagnose and treat AL amyloidosis early and effectively.
To join, you must be 18 or older, newly diagnosed with AL amyloidosis, and not yet treated. You also need to agree to follow-ups at the participating center.
- Duration: The study is ongoing as new patients are registered.
