Phase N/A
**Chronic Neck Pain Study Using TDCS and Laterality Training** Chronic neck pain can make it hard to live life and work. This study is exploring a treatment called *transcranial direct current stimulation (TDCS)*. TDCS is a gentle treatment that sends tiny electrical currents to the brain, which might help relieve pain. The study wants to see if combining TDCS with special *visual and motor exercises* can help people with neck pain. Participants will be split into four groups, each receiving different combinations of TDCS and exercises. They will attend sessions twice a week for four weeks, and if they respond well, additional maintenance sessions will follow. Various tools like the *Visual Analog Scale (VAS)* and *Brief Pain Inventory (BDI)* will be used to measure pain and progress. **Key Points:** - **Duration:** 8 sessions over 4 weeks, with potential follow-up sessions. - **Eligibility:** Must be over 18 with chronic neck pain lasting more than 3 months. - **Exclusions:** History of seizures, head trauma, or certain medical conditions. This study aims to improve pain relief, movement, and quality of life for those with chronic neck pain. **Eligibility Requirements:** Participants must be over 18 and have chronic neck pain for more than three months.

Why should I take part in a clinical trial?

Participating in a clinical trial provides early access to potentially effective treatments and directly contributes to the healthcare advancements that benefit us all.

How long does a clinical trial take place?

The duration of clinical trials varies. Some trials last weeks, some years, depending on the phase and intention of the trial.

Do I get compensated for taking part in clinical trials?

Compensation varies per trial. Some offer payment or reimbursement for time and travel, while others may not.

How safe are clinical trials?
