In this study, researchers are exploring two ways to move in Virtual Reality (VR). VR is like a special video game where you wear a headset to feel like you're in another world. The study wants to know if using a hand controller (HC) or pretending to walk in place (WIP) affects how people feel, especially about balance and feeling sick, called cybersickness. Cybersickness is when you feel dizzy or nauseous, like car sickness, while using VR.
Participants, aged 18-30, will play a VR game twice. They'll try both moving styles: one time with HC and another with WIP. After each game, researchers will check how their balance, motion sickness symptoms, and heart rate (HR) change. This study will help understand which movement method is better for a healthier and more comfortable VR experience. It will take place at Yeditepe University and will end in February 2024.
- Participants will play the VR game twice, trying both movement methods.
- Balance, motion sickness symptoms, and HR will be measured.
- Participation is voluntary and for young adults (18-30 years old).
