Primary Dysmenorrhea is a term for pain during menstruation. This study looks at using radiofrequency to ease that pain. Radiofrequency is a type of therapy that uses special waves to heat tissues and potentially reduce pain. We will have three groups of women aged 18 to 35: two groups will receive radiofrequency treatment (one through the abdomen and one in a specific internal area) and one will not receive any treatment but may receive it later if results are positive. We will measure pain using the Numeric Pain Rating Scale (NPRS), along with other data like quality of life and medication use. The treatment sessions last 20 minutes, three times a week for three weeks. No treatments will be offered to the control group during the study.
- The study lasts for about three menstrual cycles.
- Participants should expect about 9 treatment sessions over three weeks.
- Women who qualify will be between 18-35 years and have regular menstrual cycles.
