Study on I-Fiber Pearl

This study looks at how I-Fiber Pearl, a dietary fiber supplement, affects weight and body fat in adults who are overweight. Participants will be divided into two groups: one group will take I-Fiber Pearl, and the other will take a placebo (a dummy pill). Both groups will take their assigned pills daily for 12 weeks. The study is "double-blinded," meaning neither the participants nor the researchers will know who is taking which pill until the end. Throughout the 12 weeks, participants will have different measurements taken and will need to keep track of their food intake.

Key Points:
  • The study lasts for 12 weeks and requires daily supplement intake.
  • Participants must be women aged 20-50 with a certain body size (BMI ≥ 27, waist ≥ 80 cm).
  • Participants will have assessments and complete questionnaires at the start and end of the study.
