This study is about a new way to help with pain during total knee replacement surgery. In a total knee replacement, the knee joint is replaced with a man-made one. Doctors want to see if using two different types of nerve blocks can help reduce pain better. A nerve block is a procedure where medicine is injected near a nerve to stop pain signals. Patients will be divided into two groups: one group will get an adductor canal blockade, and the other will get a distal adductor canal blockade plus an anterior cutaneous nerve block. The study will measure how much pain patients feel and how much pain medicine they need after surgery.
- This study involves measuring pain levels at several times after surgery: 3, 10, and 24 hours.
- Participants should not have allergies to the pain medicine used.
- This study is for patients who are already scheduled for knee replacement surgery.
