This study is about testing special hip protector airbags for older people. Hip protectors are like cushions that protect your hip bone if you fall. Traditional ones can be uncomfortable, so not many people use them. But now, new hip protectors use airbag technology to make them more comfortable. This study wants to find out if older people living at home will wear these new airbags and if they find them comfortable.
To join, you must be 65 or older, have fallen at least once in the past year, and be worried about falling. You must also be able to put on and take off the airbag yourself. If you live in a nursing home or need help to move around, you can't join. Your waist and hip size also need to fit the airbag sizes.
