This study is for headache patients starting preventive treatment, aiming to see if follow-ups by a headache nurse improve patient satisfaction compared to regular doctor visits. Patients will be randomly assigned to two groups. Group A will receive calls from a nurse at 2 and 6 weeks, while Group B will contact their regular doctor as needed. To join, you need a headache diagnosis, have seen a neurologist, and be starting new medication. The study lasts about 3 months, and you'll have a final check-up with a neurologist.
- Study duration is around 3 months.
- Follow-up can be either nurse-led or patient-managed.
- Eligible participants must have a specific headache diagnosis.
