Noninvasive respiratory support helps people breathe without needing a tube down their throat. This study looks at two types: NIV (Noninvasive Ventilation) and CPAP (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure). These methods help people with acute hypoxemic respiratory failure, which is when your lungs can’t get enough oxygen into your blood. The study will test different pressure levels to see what works best for each person, using a helmet-like device. The goal is to find the right support level that makes breathing easier without hurting the lungs.

  • Study Length: Includes a trial with different pressure levels.
  • Treatment: Personalized noninvasive support compared to standard NIV and CPAP.
  • Risks: Excludes people with certain conditions or recent surgeries.
