This study is for people who had an ischemic stroke, which happens when a blood vessel in the brain gets blocked. The study will see if using an Intermittent Oro-esophageal Tube (a tube that goes through the mouth to the food pipe) is better than a Nasogastric Tube (a tube that goes through the nose to the stomach) for feeding. It looks at how much food patients can take and their nutritional health. Patients will be in the study for 15 days and will be split into two groups randomly. One group will use the Intermittent Oro-esophageal Tube, while the other will use the Nasogastric Tube. Both groups will still get their usual treatments.
