Study Purpose: This study looks at people with low back pain (LBP) to see if they’ll feel better with a treatment called Intermuscular Dry-Needling (IMDN). The goal is to create a tool to help doctors know who might benefit from this treatment.

Study Design: It has two phases. First, a Randomized Controlled Trial (RCT) tests if IMDN helps more than a fake treatment (sham) over several weeks. All groups will also do stretching exercises. Next, analysis will find which characteristics predict who benefits from IMDN.

  • **Participation Requirements:** Ages 18-60 with low back pain, must score 20/100 on a pain test.
  • **Exclusions:** English-speaking, not pregnant, no recent spine surgery, not on pain meds, BMI under 35.
  • **Study Details:** Involves initial tests, treatment sessions, and follow-ups over several weeks.

Important Note: Participants should be okay with needles, as IMDN involves using them. This study helps find who benefits most from this treatment, aiming to improve pain and movement for those with LBP.
